Panama City > Puerto Lindo 149km

Pt Lindo

Before leaving Panama we had to ride over the Bridge of the Americas – actually we ended up doing it 4x because we missed the pic stop!!

Puerto Lindo is a small seaside village where we will be loading our bikes onto a catamaran.

The local restaurantis  very popular with the boaties, mostly from other parts of the world.  They just leave their boats here and come back again and again to sail around this area.

It rained – I think this gives an idea of how wet we got – right down to our skin and the puddles in our waterproof boots.  Too wet to go inside the truck.  It was wet but not cold.

I had never heard rain like we got that night, so heavy we had to shout to one another to be heard, and lasted so long – how could there be that much water in the sky!!  And we are sailing tomorrow night!!  Which means we will be offline for a few days as we sail through the San Blas Islands and then on to Cartagena in Columbia..

    Hi Janet and Charlie,
I’ve seen Charlie look like he did on the back of that truck in the rain, after putting up just one sheet of gib!
A year of two beautiful grand children… I don’t think there is much Santa can add to that, but I hope finds something for both of you.

Have an enjoyable cruise and a peaceful Xmas. I look forward to reading about it soon.
    Regards,

    Warren

Hey Charlie and Janet. Tom here. Your fellow guest at the Wunderbar and fellow BMW motorcyclist. I’m going to study this trip of yours intensely. You’ve inspired me to ditch the rolling suitcase and do something very similar next year. Buen viajes y mucho suerte con todo.
