Panama City > Puerto Lindo 149km
Before leaving Panama we had to ride over the Bridge of the Americas – actually we ended up doing it 4x because we missed the pic stop!!
Puerto Lindo is a small seaside village where we will be loading our bikes onto a catamaran.
The local restaurantis very popular with the boaties, mostly from other parts of the world. They just leave their boats here and come back again and again to sail around this area.
Kids at play with a hunk of wood and a couple of bench seats
The artwork on the Wunderbar accommodation where we stayed which was done by Ian and Jen who are hopefully going to visit NZ – and us!
Loading the bikes onto the Santana – a very smooth operation, first Charlie’s…
It rained – I think this gives an idea of how wet we got – right down to our skin and the puddles in our waterproof boots. Too wet to go inside the truck. It was wet but not cold.
I had never heard rain like we got that night, so heavy we had to shout to one another to be heard, and lasted so long – how could there be that much water in the sky!! And we are sailing tomorrow night!! Which means we will be offline for a few days as we sail through the San Blas Islands and then on to Cartagena in Columbia..
